HUGE lobster rolls! And not bad quality either. Just enough butter to make it tasty and easy to eat without getting messy.The fish sandwiches are a good meal on their own. You will likely need to use both hands to hold the sandwich together. And the fish is lightly breaded and perfectly shaped to fit the bread!YUMMM!

This shack is right off the road! It just reopened up for the season and the patrons are rolling in. The menu has a vast selection from clam strips to chicken sandwiches and everything in between! As I was waiting in line to order, I got to meet some locals that stated they enjoy the fish tacos and keep coming back for them! The service was great and the staff at the window was very helpful answering my questions regarding my options. I ordered the chicken with brie and small french fries. You can taste the originality of the fries because they have the perfect thin cut to salt ratio. The chicken was grilled and just a bit of charred to perfection! I topped my lunch with a refreshing Arnold Palmer made fresh to order! Stop by you won't be disappointed!

Pretty good fish tacos. Slaw was a bit dry. Fries were over cooked and cold. Decent atmosphere besides the bees at the ordering window.

Whole belly fried clams were sweet and delicious, perfectly done. We will be back to try the scallops next.

Wow!! This place makes you feel like you're sitting beachside with their outdoor seating! The food is fresh and is prepared quite quickly. We ordered a lobster roll with a side salad and a chicken and brie sandwich. Both were delicious! Let's start with the "side salad", I would not call this a side, they gave us what essentially amounted to a whole bag of spring mix topped with onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, radish, and carrots. The balsamic vinaigrette included was quite tasty as well! Now for the lobster roll, this thing was PACKED with lobster, easily could have been a pound of meat. The bun was perfectly buttered but wasn't too bready to take away from the lobster. Will definitely be back! Best lobster roll in Western Massachusetts!

Awesome roadside stand for seafood, fries, hot dogs, etc. Convenient location and outdoor seating only, with umbrellas for folks who are sun-shy or if it is raining

My family has been a regular customer of Captain Jack's for a long time. We understand that the current pandemic makes things difficult, but we have had 2 negative experiences that displayed the wrong attitude. They got our orders completely wrong, then gave us a "that's your problem attitude." When we complained, we were told. "sorry, you can stand at the end of the line to order again. ..." That was a long line of half an hour, out in the hot son, and we had little kids in the car. So the children had to go without their food. They lost a customer for good. I hope they learn to treat customers with more consideration than this, and I hope they get a more organized system of allowing you to check your order.

Best lobster roll I ever had.. but they only had two people working in the middle of the summer at dinner time it took me a literally an hour to get it but boy was it good what I did LOL!

made a quick stop when we noticed the Captain Jack Roadside shack. there was no line. we ordered a bbq and a crispy chicken sandwich with fries. all of the items were made fresh and surprisingly quick. food was excellent and the price was reasonable.

Very pricey over $100 for 4 people Lobster Roll good, just needed a bigger roll, the fries were very greasy and limp wish I knew would’ve just asked for roll and lobster. My husband’s scallops very greasy he thought old oil taste.

We love to come to this place with the kids all the time and it is a great spot for the family. A bit of a long wait sometimes but otherwise we love it! (You need to try the onion strings!)

Went there ONCE and will go there as many times as I can possibly go once they resume their seasonal hours. Holy LOBSTER roll. Do you see this thing?! It was LOADED @ roughly $19 .Then fish tacos At about $14, the fish was juicy yet crispy fried outside with perfect slaw on top. Ice cold Palmer to sip on afterwards while enjoying the Mt.Tom in distance. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Food was good, but the person who works the window handing your food out NEEDS a serious additude adjustment!! Not good for service at all you really need someone working with a personality and good customer service like the gentleman who was taking orders who was really nice..That is a total turnoff for me and others who were visiting the same time as me also commented on his snotty attitude!! RUDE

The Best lobster rolls we've had during our visit in Massachusetts!! The thin onion rings were perfect and addictive. We can't wait to come back for more.

Extremely high quality seafood.But it will cost you. The prices here are insanely high. You will get generous portions of food in exchange for your cash, but this place is not for the faint of wallet.I love the scallops. The lobster roll has very generous portions of meat, but it is pretty boring in terms of flavor. If you get a quality lobster, then you're golden. If the lobster itself is nothing special, then you're going to be left with a boring roll.

The lobster roll has absolutely no flavor. It's made from frozen lobster meat that is stuffed small hotdog roll.

I got the lobster salad with mixed green salad. Comes with balsamic vinaigrette dressing on the side. The salad was very fresh. The lobster salad was ok. It was nothing special. For $21, the amount of lobster isn't comparable to Webster's Fish Hook In Northampton was only $16 and came with alot more lobster. They also have a way bigger menu. This place also charges for tartar sauce which is ridiculous 🤦‍♀️

Had heard from family members that this place was really good, but I didn't think it was going to be THAT good.A little taste of Maine on the roadside in Easthampton is just the treat we needed today. The lobster rolls are fantastic, as the toasted buns are overfilled with perfectly cooked lobster with light mayonnaise. I didn't get the fries, but opted for the thinly sliced fried onions, which were delicious and plentiful. Thanks to all the hard workers at Captain Jack's for operating a safe roadside stand with excellent food.

Hands down the best lobster roll you will ever have. Food is awesome. Lots of outdoor seating.

Food always great and fresh !! Best fries i ever had !! And for the lobster its amazing taste and portion great quality i come ones or twice every two weeks !!! Amazing food service and workers!! Its a lil drive from Chicopee but we make it happen!! Its worth it!!!

I don’t eat sea food but my partner loves the lobster roll from here (she loves how fresh the lobster is and the minimal mayo) and I am more than happy to drive 40+ minutes to see her enjoy it. I get the chicken sandwiches and they are also very yummy. We will definitely be back.

Nice road shack diner. Great on a summer night.The clam chowder was a little thin. The fish dinner was excellent. And they honored my electronic entertainment coupon.

I am a big guy and they serve up portions even to satisfy me. Best onion rings and fries. Very flavorful food. Would get more stars but you have to battle flys and bees at their picnic tables. You can get it to go, recommended.
